Community Rules & Terms

1. Account and participation

Realignite grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access the games for your own non-commercial entertainment, in accordance with these terms. You must use accurate registration details and keep your account secure. The private pilot asks you to confirm you are at least 18; it does not yet provide verified age assurance.

2. Realignite intellectual property and permitted use

Original software, written game prompts, response-card collections, artwork, graphics, branding, distinctive copy and other original materials made available by Realignite are owned by Realignite or its licensors, subject to applicable law. You may play and discuss the games, and may share limited examples for ordinary personal and lawful purposes.

Without prior written permission, you must not: (a) copy, publish, redistribute, sell or license substantial parts of Realignite's protected materials; (b) scrape, download or systematically collect the cards, prompts or other game content to make a competing collection or service; (c) copy, tamper with or extract proprietary source code, bypass access controls, or use non-public technical information to reproduce the service; or (d) use protected Realignite materials to create or supply an unauthorised clone or derivative product.

This does not prohibit independently developing a game using similar general concepts, nor lawful acts, statutory exceptions, consumer rights, fair dealing or other rights that cannot legally be excluded. No ownership of an abstract game idea or generic game mechanic is claimed.

3. Behaviour and group safety

You may decline any challenge without penalty. Threats, harassment, targeted abuse, unlawful content, disclosure of someone else's personal information, impersonation and discriminatory attacks on other participants are prohibited. Report harmful behaviour through the app. Realignite may restrict access where reasonably necessary for safety, misuse or breaches, subject to applicable law.

4. Player-created contributions

If you submit an original phrase or comment, you retain whatever rights you hold in it. You grant Realignite a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and use it in the relevant game session and to operate, maintain and moderate the service. Any broader use in future public decks or marketing requires a further appropriate permission. Do not submit content you do not have the right to share.

5. Pilot limitations

Games and timing are experimental. No payments, private chat, image uploads or adult user-generated-content marketplace is enabled in this pilot. Follow the venue's rules and do not use the service to organise unsafe activities.

6. Law and changes

These terms are intended for use in Australia and remain subject to Australian law, including mandatory consumer protections. Material changes to the terms will be presented for fresh acceptance before further play. This document does not remove legal rights that cannot be excluded.
